T-shirt in the life of...

T-shirts are good for Winter, Spring, Fall and Summer. They can be worn as an undershirt or as an outer garment with a variety of colors and style options available to choose from.


the T-shirt first derived from under garments around the 19th century and evolved during the mid 19th century as casual all purpose everyday wear..

There are two known spellings T-shirt and (tee shirt) with two neck styles the U neck or crew neck and the V-neck which is not seen when worn under any shirt. they are typically made from cotton a stretchy material which is easy to wash and can ne inexpensive. to very expensive.

The shirt suit used in the 19th century., first by the navy around 1913 the one-piece underwear was cut into two separate pieces a top and a bottom with the top just long enough or tuck into the waistband of the trousers. they were adopted during the mid to late 19th century as a convenient covering for hot environments.

During the Spanish War the Cooper Underwear Company ran an ad describing a new garment for men.


The T-shirt was mainly worn when doing farming and any other time that called for a cool relaxing material. Navy men continue to use it as undergarments as the T-shirts became even more popular in the 1950s. It was adapted as an outer ware and and under garment which became quite fashionable.. Due to it's popularity among boys wearing them while during a lot of activities created the idea of wearing them as all purpose clothing.

Then came along the printed T-shirts that were in limited use around 1942 .Printed T-shirts gained popularity as a form of self-expression , as advertisements, protests ,vacation destinations and as a form or remembering loved ones.

T-Shirts are readily available in many different designs ,fabrics, and styles. T-shirts are the most worn form of clothing today in today's society.
